3) Synopsis: Aeon Still doesn't like or feel normal in high school. That is before she is pick to be part of a documentary which only adds to her discomfort. What she doesn't know is that she isn't normal.
4) Feelings: I will say this up front I am a big fan of Anya as a person. When she put this book up for free I jumped at the chance to read it. She describes it as her badly written YA book. This is not a badly written YA book. I rather enjoyed it. For what it was. I am certainly not the target audience of this book. If I could switch some of the googly eyed romance for some slobber knocker fight scenes I would.
5) Final recommendation: This is a fun read. If you like YA Paranormal Romance pick up this book. If you aren't then this probably isn't the book for you.

This really was a very sweet story. Though a bit different from anything I've read before, which is good! I wanted different. The characters of Aeon and Alex were very lovable. Aeon was very quirky and a bit sarcastic. Anya did a great job of making her very likable. And Alex was great with his air of mystery in the beginning and then just enough struggle to make you question is he friend or foe?
There were a few places in the book with typos. Like at one point when Aeon is blushing, the line was something about "Her cheeks turning pink." but it said "Her cheeks turned pick" Just to give an example. But it was never enough to cause confusion and take away from my enjoyment of the story.
So if you're looking for something a little different give it a try. It was worth the read!
Aeon is for all intents and purposes a normal teenage girl which is why a film crew is documenting her life for 6months. It's definitey not something she wanted to do but they needed the money for her mothers medical bills so I guess six months isn't a long time right?
Gratefully she's not alone as 5 others were chosen, one being The new kid Alex. A friendship is kindled during Photography class and the pair grow closer, both nice normal teenagers. LOL.
What no one knows is that Aeon can stop time!! Ofcourse she's freaked out that she has this ability but what she doesn't know is that she's not the only one and there are more beings out there with special abilities just like her.
Really ejoyed this story, was completely captivated and had to read it until it was finished. The only problem was that I wished it were part of a series! Really wanted more even though the ending did wrap things up perfectly.
The writing and language had an easy flow, appealing to the younger readers it's inteded for. The dialogue between Aeon and Alex was captivating and as their love blossomed I was swept along with them smiling to myself with his cheesy one liners.
It did seem very similar to the Twilight concept I have to say as it was just her and her mom, he had a big family that were wealthy, just moved to town and had a secret to hide etc etc. It irked me abit but the story itself was so good that it eclipsed that niggly annoying point.
Definitely worth a read

I enjoyed reading this book, it's hard to put down, although the enemy they had was kind of not so challenging for the powers of the characters, overall I like the whole story.
It was good I wish it had more info on Time and Is he going to Physically meet Aeon but I'm still happy with the outcome ...on to the next one I guess
It was sweet, funny, and a nice read. I just wish they're was more Demigodness in the story, and maybe even a book two. Other then that I loved the story.
This one was an excellent read. The characters, especially the viewpoint character, Aeon, drew me in right away. Aeon was quite an awkward girl, and that made following her around all the more fun. The overarching story, more of a theme, really, was neat, as Aeon discovers she has powers over time, and who and what the new boy in school is--he's definitely not normal. The book takes awhile to get to the main crisis, but that's okay, because I had more fun following Aeon's strange life. This one had enough speculative fiction in it to more than draw me in, so if you like your YA fiction with magic and the supernatural, give this one a read!
